NurChat is the idea of Teresa Chinn RN, many of you will know her as @AgencyNurse on twitter, or from her blog http://www.agencynurse.blogspot.com/ . Teresa has blogged and tweeted about nurses using social media to develop professionally and to meet PREP requirements. She developed the twitter concept #nurseuk so nurses can "see" each other when tweeting and also developed the nurses guide to twitter. And so with the aprreciation and support of Newcross Healthcare Solutions, NurChat is being set in to motion to help nurses throughout the UK communicate professionally.
What is NurChat...
Nurchat is a regular fortnightly chat for nurses to discuss Journal articles, news, clinical practice and issues relevant to nurses. The Chats will be on Tuesdays at 8pm and will be accessed through #NurChat.

A suggestion for a future topic - The nurses role in discussing and deciding DNA-CPR and ceiling of care.
Maybe a bit heavy for the first one though!

This is fantastic thanks for the suggestion and we will certainly be looking at discussing topics like this ... But like you said maybe a bit heavy for the first chat. Keep the suggestions coming though as this is a chat that is powered by the nursing community.
